The fourth Italian Endo-ERN meeting took place on the 7th of June, in Padova, Italy. The aim of the meeting, organised by the Italian national coordinators, was to bring together Italian and European Main Thematic Group coordinators, and the Italian European Advocacy Group.
The meeting started, after an opening from the organizers, Nella Greggio and Annamaria Colao, with a presentation on the commitment of the Italian National Institute of Health, the role of the national center for rare diseases, and clinical practice guidelines. After this the day continued with presentations from all Endo-ERN MTG chairs, highlighting the different specific conditions covered by the network.
The lunch continued with working groups, allowing the participants to discuss issues in smaller groups. The day was concluded with a presentation on the experience of the Italian Endo-ERN ePAG patient representatives.
