Endo-ERN would like to welcome our newest ePAG Marta Baranska.
Marta is the founder and representative of the non-profit organization The Pituitary Gland Association Poland (Szczecin, Poland), which supports patients with pituitary gland disorders and their families.
Marta is living with Cushing’s Disease but balances taking care of her health with a busy and diverse career. Marta shares more, “I have built a strong career as a lecturer at the Maritime University, a sailing ship captain, and an expert at the International Maritime Organization in London. Additionally, I am a certified Cognitive Soul, Life & Business Coach.
Beyond my professional activities, I have completed numerous psychological training programs, earning certifications in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Rational Behavior Therapy (RBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) at Oxford University. I am also a certified psychotraumatologist and psycho-oncologist.
My scientific research focuses on coping strategies and stress management styles among patients with Cushing’s Syndrome. My primary goal is to develop and implement psychological support systems tailored to the needs of patients with rare diseases, especially those with pituitary gland disorders.
I hope that my experiences as a patient, psychologist, and advocate will make a meaningful contribution to achieving the mission of Endo-ERN.”
Endo-ERN is excited for the collaboration with you Marta!
