The CPMS Recurring Meetings are an opportunity to collaborate across the network through virtual consultations — the core focus of CPMS. They also allow discussion of diagnostic approaches, management strategies, and position statements, helping align care practices and strengthen shared expertise within Endo-ERN. If you have something you would like to discuss, please contact the relevant MTG Chairs or the CPMS Helpdesk to add it to the agenda.

TROUBLESHOOT: Joining a meeting

We know that some users have experienced issues joining CPMS meetings and missed the chance to contribute. Here are two quick tips to help:

1. Check your IT settings: Make sure CPMS is authorised or whitelisted by your institution’s IT department.

2. Join early — even days in advance: You can join the meeting link at any time, even a week before, to test your connection and ensure everything works. There’s no need to wait until the scheduled start.

PRESENT: Success stories

At last week’s EU cross-border meeting in Groningen, the network was represented by Greta Ginski and Emily White from the Netherlands and Germany in a joint presentation highlighting how the Clinical Patient Management System (CPMS) enables expert collaboration across national borders.

Their talk illustrated how CPMS facilitates virtual case discussions between clinicians from different countries, effectively streamlining access to specialist expertise without the administrative barriers often associated with cross-border care.

The presentation was well received and gave well-deserved visibility to the work of Endo-ERN members engaged in the founding principle of the European Reference Networks—ensuring that knowledge travels rather than the patient.

EASY: Explore the new features of CPMS 2.0

The new version of the Clinical Patient Management System (CPMS 2.0) introduces a range of improvements designed to make virtual collaboration easier, faster, and more secure for Endo-ERN members.

What’s new in CPMS 2.0:

• Personalise your notifications: Manage alerts to fit your own way of working.

• Simplified workflow: Endo-ERN now uses a custom dataset with fewer fields and reduced optional categories — making case entry faster and smoother.

• Controlled patient data access: Patients are visible only to the enrolling clinician and their designated assistant, ensuring greater privacy and data control.

• Direct invitations: Receive linked calendar invites directly for patient discussion meetings.

• Direct communication: A new 1:1 and group chat function allows quick, informal communication between users.

These updates make it easier than ever to collaborate across Europe — securely and efficiently — while keeping the patient at the centre of every discussion.
