Diagnostic challenges in Differences in Sex Development – a mini-symposium

On the 20th of March, 2019, a mini symposium on the Diagnostic challenges in Differences in Sex Development will be held in Nijmegen, The Netherlands.

The mini symposium is organised on the occasion of the thesis defense of Karijn Pijnenburg-Kleizen. Karijn has studied the consequences of elevated adrenal steroid precursors in Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia (CAH), both from a clinical and from a biochemical perspective. During her thesis defense the results of these studies will be discussed.

Several outstanding speakers have been invited to discuss diagnostic challenges in Differences of Sex Development (DSD) prior to the thesis defense during this mini-symposium.
