The European MEN Alliance (EMENA) is an umbrella organisation formed in 2013 at a meeting in Munich, Germany. The Alliance consists of equal representation from European patient groups who provide information and support services to patients with multiple endocrine neoplasia (MEN types 1, 2, 3 and 4) and from the expert multidisciplinary medical professionals who care for them.
The German database for MEN1 aims to register patients and follow up the course of their disease.The database can be of great help to answer scientific questions in order to improve the care for the patients and their families. All patients from German speaking countries with Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia type 1 (MEN 1) can take part and be registered at the German MEN1 database.
