Call for new members to join existing European Reference Networks
The European Commission will launch in the coming weeks the first call for new members to join existing 24 "ERNs, following the adoption of the Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2019/1269 of 26 July 2019 amending Decision 2014/287/EU.

Endo-ERN General Assembly 2020
The Endo-ERN General Assembly 2020 will be held on Tuesday March 10th and Wednesday 11th in Milan, Italy. Prior to the General Assembly EuRReCa will hold their annual meeting and on Wednesday there is the opportunity for MTG & working groups specific meetings. Two statements adopted on ERNs integration into the national health systems and cooperation with industry
The ERN Board of Member States adopted updated guidance principles to frame collaboration between the ERNs and the industry, through a revision of its 2016 statement on the matter. It also adopted a new statement concerning recommendations and good practices to foster integration of the ERNs in national healthcare systems. Rare endocrine diseases Padova meeting
On June 7th 2019, in the old Venetian villa Contarini in Piazzola sul Brenta owing to the Venetian Region Counsil, the Endocrinology Unit of Azienda Ospedaliera-University of Padova (director Carla Scaroni, MD ) organized for Endo ERN group of Padova a meeting dedicated to medical doctors involved in child- and adult-hood endocrine rare diseases.The aim of the meeting was to ameliorate the network among different care centers in our territory to uniform the standards of diagnosis and therapy for rare disease patients.
